G.V. LADIES CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS 2022/23

Our Ladies Champion Stacey Collier represented East Shepparton in the G.V. Ladies Champion of Champions played at Shepp Golf Bowls Club over 2 Sundays.  Stacey won her first three games defeating Kyabram, Eildon & Rushworth’s Ladies Club Champions putting Stacey into the semi final which was against Shepp Golf’s Champion.  Stacey won this game and then played the Grand Final against Mooroopna’s Club Champion Bernadette Nichols.  Although the scores show Stacey winning with a comfortable margin it was a very good game with Bernadette getting off to an early lead.  Slowly Stacey began to claw back the gap and went on to take the lead for the remainder of the game.  It was a great game to watch and those who did not attend missed a quality game of bowls.  Well done Stacey and good luck in the Goulburn Murray Championship which will be played on a date to be advised.
